Experiments
Prototype experiments for COSMOS
Two prototype experiments are selected for the first application of the COSMOS model to be constructed. These experiments have a global and a regional scope, respectively. Both subjects address the coupled system of atmosphere, ocean, land and ice with the hydrological cycle and the carbon cycle. The detailed specification of the scientific questions as well as the required model configuration is determined by the leading scientist of the experiment.
