New start time of the meeting!!! 14:00 Hours
Due to the fact that many flights would not arrive in time for 12:00 hrs on Tuesday, it was decided to postpone the beginning of the meeting to 14:00 hrs on the 20th of May. 2008. Please ignore the starting time in the current agenda (see below), which is under heavy construction and will be updated before the weekend.

The draft Agenda can be found here. It is, as you see, by no means final, and contains intentionally so some gaps which can be filled with your contributions. So please do not hesitate to contact Reinhard Budich or any of the board members if you would like to see your contribution in the COSMOS 5th Annual Meetings Agenda.
Hotel Information:
A block reservation is made to Sokos Hotel Vaakuna, next to the Helsinki main railway station for 120 eur/night; reservation code “COSMOS”, The block reservation will close 6 May 2008.
FMI visitors have used, for instance, the following hotels:
Cumulus Hotel Kaisaniemi, Helsinki
Hotel Arthur, Helsinki
Radisson SAS hotels, Helsinki
Park Hotel Käpylä (outside city center; 1.5 km from FMI)

COSMOS Meeting 2008 to be held in Helsinki
COSMOS General Assembly 2008 in May hosted by FMI
The next General Assembly ot the COSMOS Network will be held in Helsinki, Finland, hosted by the long time COSMOS partner Finnish Meteorological Institute.
